Abstract
This paper aims to explore the best practices and strategies for developing culturally responsive and inclusive curricula in Nigeria education. The paper begins by defining the concepts of culture, cultural responsiveness, and inclusion, and explaining their importance for enhancing the quality and relevance of education in a diverse society. The paper then reviews the current state of curricula development and implementation in Nigeria, highlighting the challenges and gaps that hinder the achievement of cultural responsiveness and inclusion. The paper then proposes some best practices and strategies for developing culturally responsive and inclusive curricula in Nigeria education, based on the literature review and the experiences of other countries. The paper concludes by offering some recommendations and implications for policy makers, curriculum developers, teachers, and other stakeholders in the education sector.
