Keywords: Healthcare Architecture, Security, Scalability, Compliance, Federated Systems, Cloud Computing, Electronic Health Records, Data Governance, Privacy, Performance Optimization.
Abstract: The clinical services that are data-driven have provided great opportunities due to the technological advancement of healthcare, but advanced complexities of the architectural challenges. Distributed systems are also significant to offer real time healthcare in terms of secure and scalable infrastructure to handle sensitive health data as well as comply with the regulations. This review proposes modern architectural constructions in the purpose of security measures, scaling strategy, compliance strategy and resiliency strategy in healthcare facilities. A comparison of the traditional, cloud-based as well as federated approaches displays the results of performance difference and privacy alignment. Since the evidence of the experiment shows, federated architecture is effective with regard privacy protection, and responsiveness within the system. The paper ends with certain recommendations of the future model of architecture where regulatory flexibility, smart incorporation of edges and decentralized trust paradigms have been given a relevance.
