Real-Time AI-Powered Distributed Network for Public Safety Data Processing and Decision Support
Keywords: Distributed computing, Artificial intelligence, Public safety systems, Real-time processing, Algorithmic bias
Abstract: The fusion of AI with DCAs is a paradigm shift in how public safety operations have historically been conducted and has converted some of the old manual procedures, where decisions in real time can now be made by complex systems being run exclusively through automated protocols. This article presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of the design and practical deployment strategies for AI-based distributed networks across diverse public safety applications, including background verification systems, credential authentication platforms, threat detection mechanisms, license validation, anomaly detection, etc. The research illuminates the design thought related to multi-tier architectures, learning models, and the flow of data pipelines to analyze parallel capabilities over the geographically spread nodes. Through in-depth case studies and performance analysis, the work shows significant speed, accuracy, and operational efficiencies compared to traditional approaches. Nevertheless, operational deployment of these technologies introduces significant issues in terms of privacy preservation, debiasing of algorithms, and regulatory enforcement.
