AI-Powered Fraud Prevention for Real-Time E-Commerce Transactions: A Privacy-Preserving Approach
Keywords: Federated Learning, Differential Privacy, Secure Enclaves, Real-time Fraud Detection, Privacy-Preserving Computing.
Abstract: The rapid growth of e-commerce has necessitated advanced fraud detection mechanisms that balance security with privacy. This article presents a framework combining federated learning and differential privacy for real-time fraud detection in e-commerce transactions. The system employs secure enclaves and data minimization strategies while maintaining high detection accuracy. The implementation demonstrates successful integration of privacy-preserving features with real-time processing capabilities, offering a scalable solution for modern e-commerce platforms. Future developments in homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs promise to further enhance the system's capabilities. The framework addresses critical challenges in transaction security while ensuring regulatory compliance and user privacy protection. The integration of advanced machine learning techniques with privacy-preserving mechanisms creates a robust architecture capable of adapting to emerging fraud patterns while safeguarding sensitive financial data. The system's modular design enables continuous enhancement and integration of new security features as threats evolve.
