Abstract: This article examines the role of open data portals (ODPs) in enhancing the economic and financial security of enterprises within the modern digital economy. In light of increasing global risks and the rapid growth of socio-economic complexities, the study explores how open government data (OGD) can contribute to informed decision-making, risk assessment, and transparency for companies. Drawing on a multidisciplinary framework that integrates policy analysis, digital governance, and risk management, the paper emphasizes the benefits of open data usage for businesses, such as improved data-driven decisions, proactive risk identification, and competitiveness in volatile markets. It further highlights the structural evolution of ODPs, detailing their typologies, technological requirements, and strategic implications. Additionally, the article addresses the challenges of data quality, implementation costs, and privacy concerns. The findings underline the transformative potential of OGD as a tool for economic resilience, and propose strategic recommendations for enhancing its application in corporate and public governance
