Paradigme de soi: du roman de la peinture d’Éric wonanuà la peinture des romans de Mutt-Lon
Keywords: Self, paradigm, art, literary, plastic.
Abstract: The question of self often arises in literature and the visual arts. So the phrases “self-writing”, “self-portrait” often come up. If the question remains even after being addressed by autobiography and autofiction, it is because it would have escaped a unanimous definition. What then is the self-paradigm? Self as a term is defined as an identity or life story. This study proposes a redefinition of oneself in art, whether literary or plastic. It was a question of highlighting the paradigm of the self which presents itself as a rhetoric and a problematic in three novels by Mutt-Lon and in the paintings of Eric Wonanu. Charles Mauron’s psychocriticism and interartiality are used as methods of analysis.
