Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally altering the nature of digital transformation by reinventing the concept of software solutions, including their creation and utilization across industries. The explanation of the AI-based means of next-generation software systems automation and its implications for business intelligence, organizational leadership, systems integration, workforce development, and enterprise innovation will be presented in this review. The article constructs the research and trends in the industry by indicating that AI is becoming more than an extension tool and enabling mechanism to facilitate the creation of adaptive, data-driven, and intelligent systems. It also puts stress on rethinking the old linear processes into Agile. It provides real-time decision-making and user experience by futurizing the established linear operation into futurized Agile operations that are empowered by artificial intelligence. The growing importance of AI in labor market requirements, human capital management, and breaking down entrepreneurship are also discussed in the paper. Also, the paper will provide detailed insight into the current role of AI in the process of digital transformation and the redefinition of digital transformation as the concept itself by providing the list of the twelve new sources published recently.
