Building Smarter Mobile QA Pipelines with Cloud-Based Testing: Lessons from a Decade of Change
Keywords: Mobile QA, cloud-based testing, CI/CD, test automation, mobile development, device coverage, test stability, pipeline optimization, test execution, framework benchmarking.
Abstract: The configuration and execution of Quality Assurance (QA) pipelines have been transformed radically because of the creation of mobile applications during the past decade. The needs of dealing with the platform fragmentation, disappointing flakiness, and enduring imperfect scalability have become pressing issues that are answered by cloud-based testing. It is a review of the evolution of smarter QA pipelines as a combination of cloud platforms, automated test harnesses, and dynamic prioritization approaches. They focus on issues like performance benchmarking, tool limitation and architectural constraints. Recent studies based on empirical evidence disclose improvement in terms of reduction in execution time, reliability of tests and flexibility of infrastructure. Nonetheless, the test stability across the platform, asynchronous interaction and contextual error technics remains a constant challenge. Finally, the review provides some tentative paths of further research to be able to maximize the level of pipeline intelligence, level of automation, the strategy of orchestrating resources.
