Keywords: Hyper-personalization, Distributed intelligence, Blockchain-enabled insurance, Edge computing underwriting, Carbon-aware cloud infrastructure.
Abstract: The next-generation cloud computing technologies have created a radical change in the insurance industry. This article discusses how the 2025 and beyond innovations being driven by cloud computing are transforming the way insurance is operated, the products offered, and customer experiences. This article evaluates the intersection of artificial intelligence, internet of things, decentralized system design, and sustainable computing activities to find out strategic opportunities that insurers can use to increase personalization, enhance the accuracy of risk assessment, simplify regulatory compliance, and create operational resiliency. The article offers an in-depth understanding of the role of cloud-enabled capabilities in developing competitive advantages such as dynamic policy customization, climate risk modeling, federated learning, blockchain-enhanced smart contracts, and carbon-aware infrastructure in progressive insurance organisations. This article provides practical advice to insurance executives who must navigate the multidimensional intersection of technical innovation, regulatory demands, and changing customer expectations in a further-digitized insurance environment through evidence-based analysis of implementation patterns by property and casualty, life and annuity, and health insurance segments.
