Real-Time Risk and Compliance Analytics: Transforming Financial Services Through Cloud-Native Architecture
Keywords: Financial risk analytics, cloud-native architecture, serverless data processing, regulatory compliance, temporal database systems.
Abstract: This article examines the shift in financial risk management and compliance monitoring facilitated by cloud-native technologies. An integrated lakehouse architecture integrates data streams from business execution platforms, customer systems, and market feeds, which feed into a harmonious store, enabling real-time evaluation with the protected data lineage. A serverless computing framework provides elastic scaling for continuous data processing, improving throughput and dramatically reducing delay. Advanced Risk models take advantage of machine learning to identify patterns indicating violations much earlier than potential omissions, market exposure issues, and traditional approaches. Interactive visualizations enable dashboard stakeholders to identify portfolio hotspots and suspected activity patterns rapidly. Unchanging audit trails and time-travel capabilities ensure complete traceability of all operations and decisions, allowing accurate reconstruction of historical information states during regulatory inquiries. Together, these technologies make a paradigm for instantaneous analytics from batch reporting to make decisions, meeting strict regulatory requirements in global markets.
