Data Governance in Cloud Data Warehousing: Strategic Frameworks for Organizational Data Integrity
Keywords: Data governance, cloud data warehousing, regulatory compliance, data quality, risk mitigation, decision-making.
Abstract: This article examines data governance within the cloud data warehousing environment, addressing how organizations can establish an effective governance structure to ensure data integrity and compliance. The text examines the theoretical foundation of data governance, its implementation in cloud settings, regulatory compliance concepts, risk mitigation strategies, and quality management approaches. This indicates how improvements in well-structured governance enhance the ability to make informed decisions through improved data quality and access. The article provides evidence that mature governance implementation provides adequate benefits, including increased operational efficiency, low cost, better regulatory compliance, strengthened security currencies, and more effective cross-delivery data uses. By setting clear, accountable structures, standardized processes, and automated monitoring systems, organizations can turn their data assets into strategic resources from operating liabilities that increase competitive advantage and organizational flexibility.
