Abstract: Zero Trust Architecture represents a fundamental paradigm shift in enterprise email security, moving from traditional perimeter-based defenses to continuous verification systems that eliminate implicit trust. The implementation of Zero Trust principles in email security environments addresses critical vulnerabilities in conventional security models through multi-layered verification frameworks, advanced authentication mechanisms, and integrated threat intelligence capabilities. Modern enterprise platforms demonstrate practical applications of these principles through comprehensive protection against credential phishing, business email compromise, and ransomware attacks while maintaining seamless integration with existing productivity ecosystems.
