Effectiveness of “applied Behavior Analysis” (ABA) to Develop the Social Skills for Autistic Children

Abstract

The purpose of the study is exploring the efficacy of ABA in enhancing communication skills among children diagnosed with ASD. A cross-sectional surve was performed among 100 professionals working in the UK’s ASD insitutions such as speech therapists, general practitioner, and special education instructors. The recruited respondents filled a structured questionnaire that assessed their opinions related to the impact of ABA on communication outcomes. The statistical analysis presents a positive ABA perceptions, with participants acknowledged its roles in the communication tendencies improvement and academic performance in ASD children. The significance level (p < .001) and T-value (–5.145) that statistically significant ABA influence on communication sills (CS).
