Abstract
The adoption of sustainable procurement strategies in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector has gained momentum as companies seek to align with environmental, social, and economic sustainability goals. This study examines the impact of sustainable procurement on supply chain efficiency and cost reduction, focusing on key practices such as supplier collaboration, sustainable material sourcing, energy efficiency, circular economy integration, and digital procurement tools. Through case studies and statistical analysis across various FMCG sectors, findings reveal that sustainable procurement not only enhances operational efficiency but also leads to significant cost savings. These strategies, however, have varied impacts across different FMCG industries, highlighting the importance of tailored approaches. The results demonstrate that sustainable procurement is a viable pathway for achieving competitive advantage while fulfilling corporate sustainability objectives
