Abstract: The contemporary changes in the banking systems are triggering a deep shift in educational needs and employee development in the financial services industry. This transformation can be described by the coming together of the past expertise of banking and the new expertise of technology, due to which there is a demand for professionals who can manage this mix to an extent. Financial institutions are taking comprehensive steps in investing in technology, whereas the education sector is carrying out an equivalent response by coming up with example-specific curricula specializing in fintech, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
