Abstract: Organizations face critical obstacles in achieving sustainable scale, velocity, and coherence during complex enterprise modernization journeys. Traditional IT transformation programs often result in fragmented systems that deliver limited competitive value due to siloed approaches that fail to integrate technology modernization with operational excellence. The Platform-Centric Digital Transformation (PCDT) framework addresses these challenges through three integrated technical pillars: cloud migration of legacy workloads using microservices architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) enabling automation via CI/CD pipelines, and API-first design supporting real-time enterprise system integration. Organizations implementing platform-centric approaches achieve significant reductions in time-to-market, enhanced system reliability through self-healing infrastructure, and improved resource governance through integrated cost management platforms.
